Lex and I enjoyed a very productive secluded stretch on the Hiwassee on Labor Day 2010. The chill in the air in the early morning is changing over to a very enjoyable temperature by 9am. We caught a number of 12 inchers plus the persistent horny toads to add to the action. Flies of choice (does not really seem to matter) on this day were the standard Bead Headed Prince #14 with the Hares Ear dropper. Both were productive. Lex also was able to snatch a few "on top" with his beautiful presentation of the fly. What a great time.
