Student - Michael Stafford

Mike Stafford is doing everything right. He chose his fly (rotating every 15 min or so until you find one that the fish want). Set the depth of the indicator to match the drop speed of the fly with that current. When the fish hit, the indicator stopped becasue the current was swift and he set the hook straight up to 11 o'clock just "sticking" the fish.

As you can see during the fight, the rod is held high at 11 and he is simply enjoying the fight. He went downstream about 30 yards to net the fish in slower water. Perfect. Great Job Mike with that 15" Rainbow Trout!
