How to carry a net

I have seen a number of people struggle carrying and using their landing net. The best way to carry a net is to use a magnet to connect it to the top back ((back of the neck) area on your vest. There is typically a ring that is attached there as part of your vest. You would simply connect one half of a magnet pair to this ring and the other to the net. This makes it easy to use by reaching back and pulling the magnets apart, while fighting the fish with your other hand holding the rod.

The second component of carrying your net on your back is… you need a string or bungee or cord that attaches the net to the vest. This connection keeps your net from floating away if you drop it. The magnets are designed to pull apart but this second connection stays connected so you do not lose your net off your vest.

Here is a quick youtube video I found to demonstrate this β€” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6gzx49O6FA
