My Parents

My fly fishing started at a very young age. My dad took me to a “Pay by Pound” fish hatchery type pond where you basically made a cast and the fish jumped on your fly… no matter where or what you threw. I was hooked. He taught me how to cast and how to tie flies, we wound our own fly rods at age 14 (they were ALL fiberglass back then - I remember purchasing my first graphite rod after I worked all summer cutting lawns at age 16).
