My mother was a “master fly fisher” being only 5’ 5” she could double haul cast much farther than many men. One of her achievements was being the only woman fly fisher ever in the fishing camp in Boca Paila Mexico to catch a prize Permit on a fly. She has also been written up by many news articles of her ability.
